How much does coaching cost?

Prices for life coaching services usually range from $400 to $800 per month. Each individual session being $100 to $200 per hour. My services involve one hour sessions. Discounts may apply as well. Fees are always paid upfront on a monthly basis.

All life coaching rates include email communications between sessions. Updates and spot coaching are excellent ways for clients to stay on track and remain motivated and connected with me. Many clients feel that life coaching can pay for itself in increased productivity and quality of life.

How long does life coaching take?

Typically life coaching lasts from one to six months, depending on individual needs. A session once a week usually works very well. Both the coach and client will determine what type of commitment would be most effective.

What are the location options for life coaching sessions?

Life coaching can be an extremely convenient service. Sessions can be conducted in person at my office in Trumbull, Connecticut or in the convenience of your home or office. Coaching on the phone, Skype, or Face Time is just as effective as it is in person. I have coached clients all over the country. My clients and myself both felt connected and tuned into each other's personal energy. There is no disadvantage to these kind of sessions. Advantages...absolutely, when it comes to traffic, weather, and childcare issues.

How is life coaching different from psychotherapy?

Life Coaching focuses on the present and creating your future. There's a practicality to it that uses tools and strategies to define goals and design action plans for you to reach those goals. Psychotherapy focuses on problems and very often looks into your past for emotional healing.

What aspects of life does life coaching focus on?

Life coaching can focus on every aspect of your life or specific areas. Family, career, health, relationships, and financial abundance are all possible topics for life coaching. Coaching in a specific area, as well as taking an overall holistic approach seems to be very effective and help with a greater sense of balance. Balance equals contentment always.

Ultimately, what can I expect over all from personal life coaching?

Expectations vary by individual, however there is a very common pattern for people that commit to life coaching.

Life coaching enables people to create a process of personal evolution. Learning, growing, transforming, breaking through blocks, using change to your advantage, identifying goals and "making it all happen" are the outcomes. "Out with the old, in with the new" You emerge from life coaching armed with plans, motivation, personal awareness, self-confidence, and an openness to change.

Life coaches support, challenge, and motivate you. They help to remove energy blocks, set goals, make action plans, raise your awareness, and assist your authentic self in emerging. All of these things lead to success, contentment, and overall happiness. All of this is dependent on an agenda that the partnership of coach and client develop.

Why is life coaching so popular?

People are tired of doing what they "should" do and are ready to do something special and meaningful that impacts the rest of their lives. People are realizing how simple it can be to accomplish something that several years ago might have felt out of reach or like a pipedream. A life coach is not a miracle worker (well, they are, sometimes) but a life coach does have a large tool kit and a variety of strategies to help you reach your goals. Fortunately, people now have time and resources to invest in themselves in this kind of personal growth.

Why does life coaching produce such rapid change?

Life coaching works for several reasons:

A connection or chemistry between the life coach and client creates momentum and enthusiasm.

Exciting goals are set -- ones that naturally motivate the client. The client has an action plan, which leads to greater success. Coaching provides a structure of support. Left to our own devices, most people start out with the best intentions and then lose momentum and either get derailed completely or delayed for a long time. A certified life coach can help you quickly break through blocks and resistance so that more is accomplished with less struggle and less effort in a remarkable short period of time.

Your coach is an objective, positive supporter. Not everyone is lucky enough to have such a person in their lives to play this role. If you’ve been doing it solo, try seeing how much more you can accomplish with your own personal life coach!
